The body of a 73-year-old woman has been removed from a house by firefighters of the South Park of Torrevieja at the request of the Civil Guard.

The firefighters arrived on the scene on February 11, entering the house via a window, with the use of a stairlift.

The smell at the entrance of the house was very strong, and it was decided to act with a biological protection suit.

A woman was sadly found deceased and with symptoms of decomposition. Signs of Diogenes syndrome could be observed in the house.
